Geronimo Kowalski has been writing about equine futures for the Beavercreek News-Current Extra since 1959. Before pursuing a career as a journalist, Kowalski spent 1957 patrolling right field for the Sioux Falls Canaries. In 413 plate appearances, Kowalski put up a slash line of .174/.506/.696 with 43 home runs, 144 walks and no other base hits. Other career highlights include his 13 self-published memoirs, Waylon Jennings’ 1972 “Ladies Love Outlaws” tour and that time I punched Ken Rosenthal in the septum.
